ISC 2022: REGISTRATION IS OPEN NOW!

Danish Timber Trade Federation, together with the European Organisation of the Sawmill Industry (EOS) and the European Timber Federation (ETTF), have the pleasure to announce the opening of the registration for the 70th International Softwood Conference 2022 – ISC22, which will take place on 12th-13th October 2022 in Copenhagen.

The ISCis a world leading conference for producers and traders of softwood products; typically, more than 180 experts from four continents join the annual meeting.

The conference will once again be held in a hybrid format though the organizers wish to host as many physical participants as possible as the ISC is also the prime networking opportunity for our sector.

We are living through extraordinary times, which makes this conference more important than ever. The pan-demic, the tragic war in Eastern Europe, and climate changes all have a profound impact on the economy and on the softwood industry as well. How do we as a worldwide industry deal with all this?

The first-class speakers at the ISC22 will try to make sense of what is happening in the softwood industry during these extraordinary years and - most importantly - try to understand where we are heading. Keith Fryer, long-time moderator and former president of the UK Timber Trade Federation, will guide through the 70th ISC 2022 followed by a delightful gala dinner at the historical Moltke’s Palace.

The day before the actual conference you are invited to join other early-arrivers in an exciting wood construc-tion-tour in Copenhagen. In the evening of the 12th October, the official opening of the ISC will take place with the welcome of the participants at a cocktail reception at the Copenhagen Marriott Hotel.
